As the Managing Director, Reimagination and Design for the Center for the Future of Learning, I was responsible for designing professional development, pedagogical experiences, and instructional structures that would leverage the Portrait of a Nevada Learner and district curricular expectations for educators and learners K-12.
Through modeling lessons, creation of instructional materials, and teacher professional development, I was able to positively impact local classrooms.
Camp MaiVERICK
I designed and implemented a three sessions designed to help educators begin the path to meaningful AI integration in their instructional design. Participants collaborated in order to experiment with prompting frameworks, creation of Gems in Google Gemini, and how kinesthetic movement, financial literacy, and digital literacy can combine to evolve our pedagogy.
NASS Conference
Co-presented "The Essential is Invisible" during the Nevada Association of School Superintendents in Lake Tahoe. This presentation used The story of the Little Prince to illustrate how the Portrait of a Nevada Learner and AI can be used to improve learner outcomes.
