During the 2007-08 school year, I taught science and social studies in a departmentalized fourth grade. In order to demonstrate their mastery of the standards, learners maintained blogs with edublogs, created podcasts using Audacity, and use flipcams to record their process.
During the 2008-09 school year, I "flipped" with the learners I taught in fourth grade. They continued with the products and processes from the previous year, but I became adept at using FOSS as the basis for the course. I also performed the duties as the science and social studies site leader. 
I was named to the elementary science and social studies cadre.
